Designed for children from preschool and kindergarten to Grade 8, whether enrolled in French Immersion, full French schools, or simply interested in learning French, our programs provide fun and engaging opportunities for children to become more comfortable using French in a variety of everyday situations.

What is La Ronde Oakville?
A French enrichment club where children grow comfortable using French with confidence beyond the classroom.
Through stories, games, songs, conversation, group activities, presentations and interactive play, children build their vocabulary and communication skills while becoming increasingly comfortable expressing themselves in French.
Our approach is fun, interactive and immersive, with play-based learning at its heart. Children are encouraged to participate through individual and group activities, building confidence through practice and creating positive and enjoyable experiences with the French language.
For preschoolers and kindergarteners, we offer a dedicated program designed to nurture early interest in French while actively involving a parent or guardian in the experience.
Our programs complement school-based French learning for children in French Immersion and French-speaking schools, while giving beginners a fun and engaging introduction to French.
Through stories, games, conversation and interactive activities, children have meaningful opportunities to speak, interact, express themselves and communicate in French in ways that feel natural and relevant to everyday life.

I am a proud mom of two daughters who attend a local full French school in Oakville. As a native French speaker and graduate of a French university in Paris, I have seen firsthand how important it is for children in our community to have meaningful opportunities to use French beyond the classroom.
I founded La Ronde Oakville to create a joyful space where children can speak everyday French through stories, songs, conversations, games and interactive activities. When children have fun, they often do not realize they are practising, learning, and building confidence.
